Occidental Leather Tool Belt Systems

Occidental Leather tool belts are hand crafted by artisans in Sonoma County, California using only the best quality American made materials. They are designed specially to meet the demands of the modern day tradesman. When you compare an Occidental tool belt to any other system, the difference is clear. 29 years of field testing has yielded the most durable and efficiently designed tool belts. Occidental has set the standard for quality and once you try them, it's the last brand of tool belts you will ever own. There are four different types of tool belts for you to choose from to best suit your application:

All leather tool belt systems are hand crafted with top grain, tanned cow hides. These bags to last a lifetime even on the most demanding jobs. The manufacturer is so confident in this product they say these are the last bags you will ever buy.

Occidental also offers a combination of leather tool belts with nylon bags. These are the same popular designs you love, just in a lightweight alternative. The exclusive NoSpill system includes leather tool holders that will keep your tools where they belong.

Adjust-to-fit tool belts are a third option and are offered in the comfort series line. They are made of heavy duty industrial nylon with neoprene padding and wider-than-normal hip areas. The adjust to fit feature locks into place to assure a perfect fit.

The final option is a nylon tool belt system which offers great performance at a more affordable price point. They are extremely durable yet lightweight and great for carpentry or framing.

Occidental Leather Tool Belt Testimonials

I bought my first occidental tool belt set over 20 years ago. The great crafstmanship is like nothing else I have ever owned. They stand up day in and day out and that is saying a lot considering I work in some pretty harsh environments. It is also comfortable which is important when you are on the job five or six days a week. I just bought a new one and it will probably last the rest of my career. Thanks Occidental.

I am at a loss for words. My framers tool belt is a work of art. It's not only beautiful, but it's functional and can take a hard beating. I've tried other brands and will never go back to the cheap belts that wear out and fall apart. Their passion for making tool belts really shows in the product and it's made in the USA which means a lot to me. I am an occidental customer for life. This belt is worth every dollar and some.

Occidental Leather Tool Belt Materials

Occidental Leather guarantees their tool belts are of the highest quality in the world. How is this done? By paying exceptional attention to even the smallest details and using only select American made materials.

The heaviest weight belting leather is used in the production of all Occidental tool belts. This leather is the highest grade and tanned according to strict standards right here in the United States.

Even the hardware on an Occidental belt is exceptionally high-grade and carefully selected. Occidental uses only the best materials from top to bottom.

Occidental uses the very best thread available as well as the heaviest gauge possible for every application. The stitch count on these belts is superior to anything else in the industry. This adds durability and longevity to Occidental products.

Tool bags are constructed of the finest full grain cow hide. The hide is tanned with a specially formulated mixture of waxes and oils. This allows the bags to withstand any and all weather conditions without requiring additional special care.

Occidental offers industrial-grade nylon fabric bags as a lightweight alternative to leather. Fabrics are USA made with the highest fiber count possible, making the bags resistant to wear, tears and punctures.

How to Care for your Tool Belt System

All leather used in the production of Occidental's belt free and vest systems is custom tanned to meet the demands of heavy, outdoor use, and requires little maintenance. About once a year, we suggest using a leather cleaner, saddle soap, or simply warm soap and water to clean the leather portion of the product. You should follow this with a light application of a non-oil based leather conditioner or a light coating of petroleum jelly (some oils and oil based conditioners may decompose threads and shorten the life of the leather). It is important to remember to always wash mud, concrete, and other job-site debris from leather surfaces with a damp cloth before it drys and draws out the natural oils in the leather. This can be done as needed depending on your working environment.
