How to Care for your beltless tool system

All leather used in the production of Occidental's belt free and vest systems is custom tanned to meet the demands of heavy, outdoor use, and requires little maintenance. About once a year, we do recommend using a leather cleaner, saddle soap, or simply warm soap and water to clean the leather portion of the product. You should follow this with a light application of a non-oil based leather conditioner or a light coating of petroleum jelly (some oils and oil based conditioners may decompose threads and shorten the life of the leather). It is important to remember to always wash mud, concrete, and other job-site debris from leather surfaces with a damp cloth before it drys and draws out the natural oils in the leather. This can be done as needed depending on your working environment.

2 Year Limited Warranty

Occidental Manufacturing, Inc. warrants that all Occidental belt free systems and tool vests will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of two years from date of purchase. Seller's sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty and, to the extent permitted by law, any warranty or condition implied by law, shall be the repair or replacement of parts, without charge, which are defective in material or workmanship and which have not been misused, carelessly handled, or misrepaired by persons other than Occidental Mfg. Inc.. To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must contact customer service at (707) 824-2560 for repair authorization and return instructions.
